Tony and Al`s Deli in Starke

We have driven up and down 301 through Starke many times in our travels and have passed the usual places to eat. Last Friday we looked online for local restaurants and found Tony and Al’s Deli and decided to give it a try. DEFINATELY take the extra minute to venture off 301 (literally one minute). The food was fantastic !!! The service was friendly and fast. Along with a great menu of lunches and dinners they also have excellent pizza which they sell by the slice. We will not stop anywhere else when we travel through Starke, you will NOT be disappointed.

For being a little hometown restaurant this place makes outstanding pizza, the everything pizza is the bomb. They put Fresh basil and garlic on it that makes them stand out from the other pizza houses.

Highly Recommend! We were passing thru town and stopped for a bite, and will make sure to stop anytime we’re in the area again! Delicious fresh homemade food. I really appreciate even the ketchup not having high fructose syrup! Shows me they are about what goes into their food.

Simply The Best. Had The Calzone And A House Salad. WoW ! Was In A Party Of 5 . Each Order Was A Hit. Lasagna , Shrimp Franglica , Chicken Florentine , And Pizza. All Fantastic. The Servers Were On Spot. Food Fresh Fast And Delicious. AAAA++++ Thank You See Ya Again. : )

My dad and I did a roadtrip and wanted as Tony & Allen Stark from Germany to eat there. Seemed like the perfect place for us! But since we were on a vacation, we didn't pay attention to days and came on a sunday.. There's always next time!

Right when you walk into the pizza parlor the smell of greatness hits you and you know your in the right place. Come hungry because the portions are large. Very friendly wait staff. You can also bring your own wine & beer to enjoy. You need to try them...

I was here 3 times in the 2 weeks I worked in the area and everything I had was great. The service is awesome and everyone is polite and always smiling. The brucheta and the calzone we're my favorite. Will be back whenever I am in town.

Al and Merlin are fantastic hosts, and they always make you feel welcome. You can tell they appreciate your business. The food is really great, prices are fair, and the portions are plenty big. Pizza is very good, as well as the pasta dishes. Check out the specials, as they are typically excellent. Their homemade house salad dressing is the best I have ever had. Highly recommend them!

I have never ate here, but I bought some gift cards from the restaurant this past Christmas for gifts. I've heard a lot of good compliments about their food.

This is a great place if you want Italian. Everything tastes great, especially the marinara sauce.If you want a no meat option, the noodles and marinara are great, but I didn't think it was a large enough portion.If you want meat, the lasagna and spaghetti bake, are the way to go.The bread is some of the best bread I have had, and believe me, I have had some bread made by the best of bakers.

We just had a delicious family meal in Alachua & met Tony! What a fantastic Italian 🇮🇹 joint! We had a cheese pizza, calzone, salad, appetizer (fried ravioli), & my 7 year old had spaghetti 🍝 & meatballs. We all loved it! & it was only around $40! What a great deal. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Fantastic food. We had lots to take home. What a wonderful place. (& the one in Starke is just as good-this one may be better, imo..it’s def bigger & has a cooler oven.)I definitely would recommend to anyone. (& they use basil instead of just oregano, like many ignorant pizza places. (My family is Sicilian & it’s authentic to use basil instead of oregano.)This place gets 5 stars. We loved it. & will hopefully be back soon.

We called in an order of 17 large pizzas and they had them all done in 35 mins! The service is amazing the pizza taste great! The whole team there is fast, nice and on point! This is for sure one of the best pizza places around. We are not from this area but we come here alot and will definitely be eating here again

The meanest stromboli in town resides here, and word on the street is he's been checking out your girlfriend. You gonna let that fly? I think not! If you don't wanna look like a wimp you better be here, noon sharp. And not a minute later.

I visited Tonys 3 times over the last week and got pizza every time, it was delicious. No complaints. The food was good and I got what I expected. The servers were courteous and I got my food super fast. They got me in and out very fast. All in all a great visit.
